Images of the mountains, lakes, dales, streams and waterfalls of the Lake District. Most are from its south and east sides, which are more accessible from where I live, many of them having been taken on day visits. Some scenes which are entirely of woodland, although in the Lake District, are included in the gallery devoted to woodland in the north of England.
