Norway's wildlife scene is dominated by its seabirds and, in particular, the white-tailed eagles. The first five images here are of the eagles around Lauvsnes, a coastal village about 130 km north of Trondheim, where local resident Ole Martin Dahle has been taking guests out in his boat to photograph them for many years. They were taken in August 2018 and are followed here by another image of an eagle, this one taken in winter (in February 2023) as it soars in front of snow-covered mountains near Svolvaer in the Lofoten Islands.
Ole Martin also has a hide nearby which can be used when the weather makes it impossible to go out in the boat. The images of woodland birds and red squirrels were taken there.
They are followed by images of other sea birds, all taken on the Varanger Peninsula in the far north east of the country in March 2019 - the first six at Båtsfjord and the final eight on the island of Hornøya.
