PANORAMA
The falls divide into three main groups and feed into two channels, separated by the island of Isla San Martin. The first group, out of view to the left here, plunge directly into the channel on the Brazilian side of the island. They include the fall known as the Devil's Throat which has the greatest water flow and drops uninterrupted for just over 80 m. Others in this group include those named Santa Maria, Floriano and Belgrano.

The other two groups are shown here. The Rivadavia Fall, on the left, dominates the middle section. It drops to an intermediate channel on the island, which leads to several smaller falls, in the foreground here as they drop into the Brazilian channel.

The third section, top right, comprises an arc of falls dropping into the Argentinian channel, named, in order, Escondido, San Martin (the largest of these), Mbigua, Bernabe Mendez, Adam, Eve, Bossetti, Ramirez, Chico and Dos Hermanas, though they aren’t easily distinguished here as the water flow was quite high.
