LAVA STACKS
These lava stacks are close to the Kálfaströnd peninsula on the south side of Mývatn, the large, shallow lake, which occupies a central position near the Hverir hot springs and the Krafla volcano, and between the spectacular waterfalls of Godafoss, Aldeyjarfoss, Selfoss and Detifoss.
